Winter is upon us and our neighbors may need help staying warm. Silverbackks is collecting warmth items, including warm gloves, wool socks, scarves, hats, and HotHands®. Whether new or gently used, your contributions will go a long way to help Topekans stay warm when outside and exposed to the elements.

2016 Winter Warmth Drive

Have you seen a sale for any of these items and want to buy a few? Have some items that have been outgrown? You sew or knit and want to make them? Wonderful! We’d love to find your socks, scarves and hats a new home. We do ask that your items be new or gently used, and clean. We are looking particularly for wool socks, which will help to keep feet warm and dry. Also, warm and sturdy gloves are appreciated. The small, stretchy gloves are fun but they wear out quickly and don’t provide much warmth.
